If you are interested in becomming a licensed architect or architectural intern, or if you are interested in transfering to a four or five year institution to continue your studies in architecture or a design related field, the Diablo Valley College architecture program offers exceptional education in the field of architecture and environmental design at highly affordable tuition rates.

The DVC Architecture program currently offers two degrees in architecture:  Architectural Design and Architectural Technology.  Students may obtain an Associate of Science Degree in either option based on completion of the specified units required for each program.  Students are also encouraged to obtain both degrees to provide exceptional training for work in an architectural firm.

Following the achievement of the Associates of Science degree from Diablo Valley College, students may choose to continue their education towards a Bachelor's degree in architecture at a transfer institution, or may wish to directly seek employment in an architectural firm.

Both associate of science degrees are given credit by the California Architects Board towards obtaining an architectural licence in the State of California.  Please check with the California State Architects Board regarding their table of equivelants for an Associate of Science degree and the required steps to become a licensed architect in the state of California.
